Project Summary

Location: Woodbine, Maryland
Challenge: This kitchen remodel reimagined a space that once sat quietly in the corner defined by heavy wood cabinetry, limited light, and little architectural presence. The goal was to bring the kitchen forward and make it feel like a true centerpiece of the home. We introduced layered green tones at the island and lower cabinetry to add depth and contrast, balanced by a lighter perimeter to keep the room bright and cohesive. The transformation was further elevated with architectural upgrades overhead, including a statement coffered ceiling that reframed the kitchen and added dimension, scale, and intention. To carry that impact beyond the kitchen, we also redesigned the living room ceiling, creating a more unified, custom feel across the main living spaces. The result is a kitchen that feels defined, elevated, and built for everyday life. No longer an afterthought, but the heart of the home.
