Project Summary

Location: Ellicott City, Maryland
Challenge: This kitchen remodel was a true rip-and-replace completed within the existing footprint, with a focus on improving daily function in the home’s most heavily used space. The original layout created congestion, so we reimagined the plan to strengthen the working triangle and make movement through the kitchen feel more natural. In close collaboration with the homeowners, we developed creative storage solutions that keep small appliances tucked away – significantly clearing the countertops and maintaining a clean, intentional look. We also incorporated a hidden cabinet/closet for backpacks and everyday drop-zone items, helping the space stay organized even during busy routines. With ample prep space and comfortable seating for everyday dining, the finished kitchen feels streamlined, efficient, and built for real life.
