Project Summary

Location: Ellicott City, Maryland
Challenge: The original floor plan of this home was split up and separated by a narrow hallway filled with doors. Our clients wanted to open up the space and make it more functional for living and entertaining, so we relocated the stairs and added on to the side of the house. A large kitchen with custom cabinets and walk in pantry, mudroom, and new office combined with a widened entryway achieved this goal, while still maintaining a warm and appealing home. Upstairs, updated bedrooms for the kids and a new jack and jill bathroom provides some room for them to grow.
