Challenge: We turned this family’s unfinished basement into a flexible lower-level retreat with space to grow. It now includes a cozy hangout area, kitchenette, gym, bedroom, and bathroom-ideal for everyday use or future guests. Highlights include a coffered ceiling to hide beams and a paneled gym wall that boosts both acoustics and style.
