Old Oak Primary Bath
Project Summary
- Location: Ellicott City, Maryland
- Challenge: The overall footprint of this space was ample and fairly well thought out, but the finishes left something to be desired. Our goal was to update and open up the space but not alter any of the walls – we did this by removing the large corner tub, changing the shower to have a level entry and minimal hardware on the glass, and using brighter finishes. Custom cabinets in both rich wood and off white provide ample storage space, and by moving the shower fixtures to a different wall we were able to integrate a tall niche that serves both a decorative and functional purpose. A touch of sparkle comes from brushed brass fixtures and hardware, while glass plays a role in both mirrors and lighting.
